Larry E. Copp, 66, of Hawkeye, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his home in Hawkeye. 

Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Hawkeye Cemetery with Rev. David R. Nelson officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 31st  at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Sumner.

Larry Earl, son of Earl and Bernice Woodson Copp, was born June 23, 1946, at West Union, Iowa. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawkeye and attended school in West Union. He worked for many years at Chensvold Sanitation in West Union and also as a farmhand for several area farmers.

He is survived by three daughters, Kelly (Grant) Blaha of Marengo, Kristi (Gene) Sauer of Hiawatha, and Stephanie Copp of Hawkeye; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, LaVera Dralle of Allison; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.
